Here is a planned Dinner in a Bag that anyone can make in a pinch.
Imagine going to your pantry (or your children going to the pantry) on a crazy busy day, a sick day, or a lazy day, and having a meal already together just waiting to be assembled.
What is even better, is that when you filled the bag with the attached recipe, you had purchased the items on sale. Making it not only easy, but Very affordable!
Here is one idea courtesy of Denise Burton.
This is the bag already filled sitting on your pantry shelf.
Here is the easy to follow recipe stapled to the bag.
See how easy to follow this recipe is.
Here are the 6 simple items needed to complete the meal.
Does it look like something you might already have on your shelf?
With this idea, all you have to do is grab the bag and follow the instructions.
No wondering what to have for dinner anymore.
So easy you could easily teach a young child the basic cooking skills needed.
I found that when my children were younger, if they made the meal then they For Sure ate it.
In fact there was a time in our family when all of the children chose a day they wanted to prepare the meal. They were excited about it and made things, that if I had thrown it together they would have turned up their noses.
Instead, they named their meal and Loved it.
Here is one that we have always remembered: Tiffany's Terrific Turkey dinner.
She used a can of Turkey purchased from the church cannery, added corn and other items and Walla Dinner was served.
Make it a FAMILY THING.
