Walking UP the Down Escalator

I heard this on a commercial the other day...

A body at Rest tends to stays at Rest,
a body in Motion, tends to stays in Motion.

Makes sense huh!

It reminded me of an analogy I heard last week at Time Out For Women, by one of the presenters.

canary wharf escalator 2004

Ever tried to go UP the DOWN escalator?

*  If you walk up part way then stop, you will end up back where you started...the Bottom.
* If you walk up part way and then just keep a steady pace, then you will simply stay in one place.
* Then, if  you walk up part way and continue to increase your pace, eventually you will make it to the top.

Apply it to any part of your life and you will be successful.

"For of him unto whom much is given much is required" (D&C 82:3)

"My faith is, when we have done all we can, then the Lord is under obligation, and will not disappoint the faithful; he will perform the rest" (Discourses of Brigham Young, p 155)
