Trying Times Create Desperate People
I find it interesting that my last post was about BLACK FRIDAY and the crazy things people will do when they WANT and NEED something so badly.
It has been a week now since some residents on the East Coast have had electricity to their homes.
No heat for homes, No ability to cook, No gas for cars or generators.
What would you do?
Some people have been reported to say that they will do whatever it takes, to get what they need for their families.
Here they are standing in line in the freezing cold waiting for gas.
As I sit here typing this post. It is being reported on the radio, that adults, children and the elderly are "Dumpster Driving" to find anything they can to eat or feed their families.

ARE YOU PREPARED?
Here is an opportunity to Serve.
The Elders serving in the area are devoting their entire day to serving those who have been affected by Super Storm Sandy. They are cleaning up damaged homes and yards, bringing help and hope to those around them.
Here is a plea that went out in our ward for help to the Elders. They are serving all day and unable to return home to their apartments for their meals. So they have been depleting their own limited funds.
If you have a desire to assist in their cause. You can send gift cards (VISA, Mastercard, or American Express) in increments or $25.00 to give to the missionaries.
