Black Friday

A Long Island Wal-Mart worker died on Black-Friday, 2008, after an "out-of-control" mob of frenzied shoppers smashed through the Long Island store's front doors and trampled him. Shoppers ran over the top of him and climbed over vending machines to get to the discounted items they were seeking in those early morning hours.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Food, most states have just three days of food on hand. Three days!  If the trucks that bring food to the stores each day were unable to make their deliveries, for any reason, the store shelves would be empty in a matter of just a day or two. If people will trample a person to death for toys and TV's, what will they do for food? I, like many others, don't want to be in the stores to find out what that will be like.

Having your own food supply, can give you peace of mind in troubled times. Be it loss of income, health problems, economic disaster, natural disaster, or other calamity, you can rest easy knowing that you and people you love will have delicious, nutritious, and life-sustaining food.

Make a plan to have enough food for your family for several months. Talk about water filtration and get a water filter. Sounds a lot better than Wal-Mart on Black Friday to me!
Besides I prefer these kind of shelves any day.
Saves a trip to Wal Mart.
These are on my "to do" list. Love them!

Nothing like seeing your efforts right before your eyes. I am asking my handy man (husband) to build me one of these too. Looks so sturdy and holds a lot.

Tight on space? No excuses. Anybody can do this!
