Are you like me and sometimes buy a caron of buttermilk for that one special recipe and don't know what to do with the rest?
Besides the fact that you should be making your own for now on (add a tab. of lemon juice or white vinegar to a cup of milk and let it sit for 5 to 10 min.) Yes it works and Yes I have done it.
Anyway, back to the left over carton of buttermilk.
Try this next time...
You can freeze buttermilk! No more wasting a whole carton every time a recipe calls for it.
Simply pour it into an ice cube try in 2 Tab. portions, then use as needed in your next recipe.
